The Music and Motion Studio have been training instructors for over 17 years running courses and training sessions in Fitball, Bar, Cycle, Chiball and How to be a Presenter as well as choreography workshops in all areas of group exercise including hi low, step, aqua, kids, older adults, cycle, bar, fitball.
We run regular workshops and have a calendar below so you can check when we are next running the one that suits your requirements. All workshops are accredited or recognised by Fitness Australia and attract CECs and we also have some accredited with Kinect which attract PDPs. The amount allocated will depend on the workshop or masterclass. Booking can be through the online shopping section of our site or through the Aerobic Music heading.

MASTERBLASTER FREESTYLE FITNESS CONVENTION

This fabulous freestyle convention, now in its 9th year, has been a huge success every year with over 200 delegates booked in and many sessions completely booked out more than a month before the event. So if you want to be part of this motivating and inspiration series of masterclasses, make sure you book as soon as bookings have opened. Once the session is booked, it's too late ... there are no waiting lists. First in best dressed.

AGEING WITH ATTITUDE - Part 1 The Essentials 4 hours 4 CECs
If you are currently working with, or wish to work with, this amazing special population, these workshops are for you. Part 1 covers everything you need to know about working with this group, core training, choreography ideas and more.

AGEING WITH ATTITUDE - Part 2 Fun, Functionality and Fitness 4 hours 4 CECs
Part 2 works with equipment such as balls, resistance training using bars or dumbells and includes games and chair based exercises. Something for everyone and there is always something new to learn or a new idea to be had!
SMARTFITBALL 7 hours. SmartFitball is a ball based training program designed to develop overall strength, core stability and balance. It is for personal trainers, gym staff and group exercise instructors. It is a must for anyone using the Fitball or planning to incorporate it in their training program or classes. This program is the official Fitball training program for Fitball Australia. Cost $199 includes comprehensive training manual, 6 CEC's, lunch and assessment to become accredited SmartFitball instructor. For more information please go to our online shop
SMARTCYCLE -7 hours. SmartCycle is part of the Music & Motion Studio's GetSmart Fitness training programs. This 7 hour training will extensively cover safety, technique, bike set up and adjustments, different training methods and more as well as a very comprehensive training manual. GETSMART FITNESS LIFESPRINTS - 3.5 hours. The Music & Motion Studio on behalf of the University of NSW, have developed the 3 hour lifesprints training which is the 8 second sprint, 12 second rest period they developed for fat loss. This program cannot be used in any fitness centre for group exercise or personal training until this course has been successfully completed. The music is available through us as well. The training will encompass all areas of Lifesprints so the program can be incorporated into circuit classes or gym floor including boxing, cycling, skipping and more. SMARTBAR 7 hours. Smartbar s a license free bar based resistance training program designed to incorporate both strength and endurance training principles. It is designed to be both enjoyable and achievable. Using weight plates and a bar, or dumbbells, each workout has been designed to target specific muslce groups. Great for personal trainers and gym staff to incorporate techniques into your programming as well as a great foundation for group fitness classes.
