Our ChiBall class is a combination of modalities in the mind body area, such as Mind Body Dance, Pilates, Yoga, TaiChi, Chikung, Feldenkrais and relaxation with meditation. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and working within the seasons as well as internal organs and meridians, this class will give you all round results, rejuvenate, increase energy, increase mobility and strength. You will leave the class feeling renewed and refreshed.
The class features a ChiBall. This is a small hand held ball that is great for focusing the mind as part of the movement and used to support your body. There are 6 different colours and aromas each meaning something different and offering different results.

EXPRESS CLASSES - AS the name implies, these classes are short and sweet. 30 minutes and they are over. Currently we have 3 express classes - step express (a choreographed workout using the step which is fun and gets the heart rate up!); interval express (a workout mix of cardio and weights / strength training in short bursts to ensure a great workout, great for fatburning during the class and continues to burn fat after the class) AND Cycle Express which is a 30 minute indoor cycle class on a stationery bike.
Some times included in our Express class (as well as other classes) is LIFESPRINTS which is the 8 second 12 second interval training program - read more about Lifesprints below.
Sweat and Step
Half hour of hi low and half step - pure cardio movement and fun. Stay for one half or the whole hour.
Just as it says, this class means a great cardio work-out resulting in a sweat and a good time.
Learn routines with smooth transitions and add each one together until you get to the finale!
This will get you fit, toned and keep you feeling better than ever! SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS AND INTERMEDIATE - ask our staff to guide you to the right class for you. 60 minute class.
Strength & Tone
Want to reshape your body to a stronger, leaner you? This class is the one you want. No co-ordination required and no complicated routines. You will see results from this mix of cardio and weight training. Your instructor will guide you through proper technique and purpose for each exercise leaving you smarter and healthier. A selection of equipment will be used such as fitballs, hand weights, boxing and steps and will vary from week to week so you get variety. This class is not choreographed and everyone works at their own pace - just a great group PT session. SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS AND ABILITY. 60 minute class.
Yoga
Yoga is derived from the sanskrit word "yuj' meaning 'to join'. It is the true union of mind and body and above that it unites our will with the God's will.
Yogasanas are perhaps the only form of exercise which give sufficient and thorough exercise to the internal organs and glands of the body including such as the prostate and bring firmness and flexibility to the body and increase the lubricatoin of the joints, ligaments and tendons.
Pranayama stimulates, regulates and harmonises vital energy of the body. Constant practice strengthens the nervous system and endocrine glands. It helps increase the oxygen supply to the brain allowing mind to become calm and capable of concentration. SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS AND

Zumba

Tummy Hips and Thighs
As the name say, this class includes those much loved body parts and plenty of core work! So be prepared for the burn - while those leg, abs and butts get a great workout . As with all our classes, you will take it at your own pace and only work as hard as works for you. All moves can be modified for those with injuries or just starting into fitness. Belly Dancing
Great to redesign your body. This class teaches you to move as you didn't know the body could. The movements focus on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. This is a fun class and given time will show real results for your fitness, core sstrength and smile muscles! SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS AND ABILITY. 60 MINUTE CLASS.
SmartCycle
Indoor cycling has become a hugely popular class in fitness centres all over the world. A class designed on a stationery bike with motivating music, the instructor will guide you on a journey through different rides and terrains. If you like to work hard and sweat this is the class for you. If you have never exercised and are just starting out, this is also a great class as it is able to accommodate beginners and advanced participants at the same time as you all cycle at your own pace. SUITABLE FOR ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS AND ABILITY. 30 or 45 MINUTE CLASS.
BOXERCycle
Ever felt just cycling wasn't enough of an overall body workout? So did we so we developed Boxercycle - a combination of both in an interval format. Part of the class is on the bike and the other part is boxing drills both technical and cardio. A fun workout - you can do it at your own pace whether taking it easy or working flat out. Not an entry level class - preferably you will have done some previous exercise before participating in this class.
Triple Impact OR Cardio Combo
Just as the name suggests, this class is split into sections - Cardio Combo is 2 sections with half low impact aerobics and the other half involves some strength training, core and a stretch. Triple Impact is 20 minutes of low impact aerobics, the second part is step or fitball and part 3 involves some core work, weights and a stretch. Great session for beginners level, plus intermediate participants can also get a great workout by just working a bit harder!
Ageing with Attitude (or Combo Lite or Triple Impact Lite)
A lite pace class for over 50s - involves some cardio work in the form of aerobics for 20 - 30 minutes and the second half will include some light weights and abdominal / core training ending with a nice relaxing stretch. Great class to keep osteoporosis at bay as well as keep you young into your old age! Helps also with menopause, keeping blood pressure down and making sure your body stays strong and flexible. Join us in the fight and age with attitude!!!
CARDIO KICK BOX
This class combines boxing and kickboxing moves emphasing technique and doing drills. All instructors are THUMP trained
and for anyone looking for a great overall workout for strength and cardio, this is for you. No need to be coordinated, you will learn all the basics and find your skill level improve from week to week. Great class to increase confidence, coordination and cardiovascular fitness. All levels welcome.
Suitable for any level of fitness as modifications provided for entry level exercisers to the more advanced participant.

combining cardio and weight activities. Mix strength & tone and interval training and you have circuit up n go. As with all our classes we vary them from week to week to keep you interested and your body and mind challenged.
AEROBIC LESSONS
This is an entry level LESSON (not class) designed to teach you basic steps of aerobics and how they get put into routines so you can take your time learning the moves until you feel confident to step into a class. You need no coordination, knowledge or skills and don't need to be fit. We will help you with the fundamentals. STRICTLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN AEROBICS. 45 minutes.
LIFESPRINTS
LifeSprints exercise has been developed from research conducted in the
Medical Faculty at the University of New South Wales. This research based on indoor cycling has
shown that a 20-minute workout consisting of 8 seconds of sprint
exercise, followed by 12 seconds of easy cycling, resulted in much more
fat loss than 40 minutes of steady state cycling (three times a week for
15 weeks).
LifeSprints also resulted in big increases in aerobic and anaerobic
fitness. We include Lifesprints in our interval classes not only on the bike, but also with boxing, skipping, using the step and much more. Heaps of fun and depending on how hard you want to work, it is an awesome workout. Click here to read more.
